Having the right equipment
Now I think the best videographer wedding slough in the world can take amazing photos with dots and take digital cameras, but unfortunately I am not the best photographer in the world and I am not ashamed to admit that. However, I get married every year. Having the right tools makes your job as a wedding photographer easier.
Wedding photography can be expensive, but you can make a living by paying for your first investment and taking a couple of weddings.
I recommend at least two camera bodies and at least two lenses. Because you don’t have time to replace the glass in the wedding routine. Therefore, I recommend using focal length camera lenses. If you are a Canon photographer, I would recommend the following two lenses.
Canon 24-70mm f2.8 luxury lens (medium range)
Canon 70-200mm f2.8 II IS lens (phone lens)
You may need a lens like the Canon 17-40mm F4 L for larger shots.
If you are a Nikon or Sony photographer, look for similar lenses.
Use a flash.
Now that you are out, you may be tempted to use natural light and there is nothing wrong with that. However, adding a little flash will surprise your photos. Having a flash to give it a bit of filler light will shine well on your eyes and eliminate the unpleasant shadows on the sun’s surface.
Again, if you are a Canon shooter, I recommend at least 2-3 flash drives with a wireless trigger. The following flash I used at weddings:
Canon 430 EX II speed
Canon 580 EX II speed
I will not leave my home without Gary Fong dispersing. This small device attaches to the top of your flash gun and makes the light brighter, giving your photos a soft and natural feel.
Cover the bride like glue.
Okay, maybe you don’t like glue, but you get the idea. Wherever the bride goes, you have to follow her and always take care of her. Now you think about the groom, the truth is that you want to get the groom in as much as possible, but in reality everything is in the bride. People want to see her hair, her flowers, her makeup and everything you think of. Make sure your photos reflect this, as the bride is in the spotlight on her wedding day.
Make sure you have a backup.
Fortunately, none of my tools have failed me, but I do have the tools to back it up. So I drive two cameras, 3-4 lenses, a few batteries, a few memory cards and 3 traffic lights.
If you can’t get the right pitch, you don’t want to get frustrated, so invest in a good cap. Be prepared, you will do well.
The result
Wedding photography is not for the faint of heart, so I think you need a special person to be a wedding photographer. Wedding photography can be stressful, but I’m sure you’ll be relieved if you’re ready.
Things get worse when you shoot a wedding. There is no reason why you should not be able to cope with any situation that arises if you are calm and free.
The most important thing is to enjoy the experience. Most guests and family members take care of the respected and courteous photographer. Personally, I like to be photographed at a wedding, so I think it’s better to take a wedding photo with different wedding photos.
Make a list of shots
The list is very important if you are just starting out. Having a list of shots allows you not to miss any shots. If you start memoryfilming weddings on a regular basis, you don’t need a short list after a while, but it’s always easy to have a backup. Some of the shots I suggested:
The wedding dress is hanging / leaning on a chair.
Brides dress.
Bride Garter
The bride does her hair / looks in the mirror.
Groom / groom groom
The groom ties a tie.
The groom hugs his parents.
Parents / best man straight wedding gowns
The bride and groom attend the ceremony.
The family is sitting.
the bridesmaids walk down the aisle
Groom care / watch check
The bridegroom saw the bride for the first time
Before the bride enters
The father and the bride walk down the aisle.
Dad and the bride walk the road (if you have another photographer)
Groom and bride exchange manta.
Close the handcuffs.
The first kiss as a couple
Walking as a couple
The bride and groom are outside the facility
The family throws candy at the bride and groom.
